PURPOSE:To enable the cultivation of cells in a large scale at a high concentration, by placing a rotary filtration device in the suspension liquid of a suspension-type cell-culture tank, and discharging the culture liquid from the tank through the filter and the pipe in the rotary shaft of the rotary filter. CONSTITUTION:A rotary filtration device 5 is immersed in the suspension liquid of a suspension-type cell-culture tank 1. Fresh culture liquid is supplied from the stock tank 2 to the culture tank 1 through the pump 3, the pipe 4, the change-over 11, the pipe 8 in the rotary shaft of the rotary filtration device 7, and the filter 7. The used culture liquid is discharged through the filter, the pipe 8 in the rotary shaft, the pipe 4', the changeover valve 14 and the pump 3'.
