PURPOSE:The titled food useful as a fast food, having palatability, improved taste and nutrition, by blending a great number of steamed or boiled grains of maize with a binding material, collecting and molding them so that the outer peripheral face of a molded article is coated with the binding material, and roasting the molded article. CONSTITUTION:A great number of grains of maize are steamed or boiled, gelatinized, and coated with a binding material. Then, the grains are molded into a spindle shape, the outer peripheral face of the molded article is coated with the binding material, and roasted, to give the aimed food. The binding material is obtained by blending glutinous rice flour with glair, butter, and turmeric, and emulsifying them. |
