PURPOSE:To prevent wiring from troubles such as disconnection by forming organic high molecular semiconductor in a color filter on the basis of electrolytic polymerization. CONSTITUTION:A substrate obtained by forming a transparent electrode 31 on a glass substrate 21 and then forming a color filter 23 on the electrode 31 is dipped into an electrolytic solution 71 and a voltage 74 is applied between the transparent electrode 31 to be used as a working pole and the opposite pole 72. When the value of a voltmeter 75 is kept by using a reference electrode 73 which is one of reference components in normal electrochemistry,ore stable conditions for polymerization can be obtained. In this case, an electrolytic solution consisting of an organic solution such as acetonitrile having high dielectric constant as a main component and an electrolytic solution consisting of quaternary ammonium salt group such as 4-ethyl ammonium perchlorate is used and a monomer constituting organic high molecular semoconductor such as pyrrole is dissolved in said solution. In addition, ITO or tin oxide is used as the transparent electrode 31 on the working pole side and a filter obtained by coloring gelatin is used as the color filter 23. Metal such as platinum is used as the opposite pole 72 and a calomel electrode or the like is used as a reference electrode 73. |
