PURPOSE:To improve the assembly performance of a transfer apparatus and the maintenance and service performance on a transmission case side by supporting the transfer drive gear of the transfer apparatus in center impeller form. CONSTITUTION:In a transfer apparatus 60, a transfer driving gear 61 installed integrally onto an output shaft 11 meshes with a driven gear 62 rotatably fitted onto a rear drive shaft 12, and an engagement type transfer clutch 63 is installed between the gear 62 and the shaft 12. While, a collar 65 is installed between the gear 61 spline-fitted at the rear part of the output shaft 11 and a driven gear 56 for the fifth speed, and a bearing 66 is installed at the rear part of the gear 61, which is supported through the center impeller form by a bearing 68 at the joint part between the bearing 66 and a transmission case 1. Because of the center impeller type support, the meshing noise on 4-wheel drive can be reduced, and the service life of the gear can be prolonged. |
