<p>PURPOSE:To uniformize temperature of a light source lamp, enhance contrast and obtain a large amount of irradiation energy, by a construction wherein the outside air is taken into a container for a light source lamp through opening parts provided on both sides of the container, and is discharged to the exterior through a substantially central part of the container. CONSTITUTION:A heater 28 is provided near a fluorescent lamp 5, the outside air is taken in through the opening parts provided on both sides of a printing head by a fan equipped with a heater 27, and blows air into the head after heating it to a predetermined temperature. To heat a liquid crystal panel to a predetermined temperature, the heater 27 starts to be supplied with an electric current simultaneously with turning ON a power source of the printer. On the other hand, the heater 28 is supplied with an electric current to heat the lamp 5 to a predetermined temperature, the passing of the current is stopped when the lamp 5 is turned ON, the lamp 5 is turned OFF on completion of printing, and the current is again passed when the temperature is lowered to or below the predetermined temperature. Accordingly, the liquid crystal panel can be maintained at a predetermined temperature, the initial temperature of the lamp is specified, and maximum luminous energy with high contrast can be obtained simultaneously with the start of printing.</p> |
