PURPOSE:To project always stable pictures by resetting a CPU when the power source of a TV receiver is turned on and providing a discharge detecting circuit of a cathode-ray tube to reset the CPU at the discharge detection time. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 32 is turned on, a voltage VA at a point (a) rises as shown in a figure A; and when a voltage VB at a point (b) exceeds VBE of a transistor TR Q1, this TR Q1 is turned on, and a collector voltage VC becomes as shown in a figure B, and then, the second TR Q2 is turned on, and a pulse shown in a figure C, namely, a reset pulse PR is obtained in a terminal 34. This reset pulse PR is supplied to a CCU 20 and the second and the third digital signal processing circuits 6 and 11, and power supply to them is inhibited until the reset pulse PR rises. Thus, the malfunction of circuits 20, 6, and 11 at the power-on time is avoided. |
