PURPOSE:To improve indoor temperature distribution under preventing the feeling of cold air by a method wherein the blow-off speed of the blow-off amount of air is detected and the distributing and deflecting operations of blow-off airflow are determined based on the result of detection. CONSTITUTION:In case the blow-off air speed, detected by an air speed sensor 6, is smaller than a value set in a comparator 11, the blow-off airflow 14 is not branched and passes a central floor surface, however, the feeling of cold air is not felt since the air speed is small. In case a sufficient room heating capacity is desired and a large amount of blow-off air is necessitated, the air speed sensor 6 rotates motors 9, 10 through a motor control circuit 12 when the sensor 6 has detected an air speed higher than a given value set in a comparator 11, vanes 4 are turned to branch and deflect the blow-off airflow 15. In this case, the blow-off airflow does not effect directly on inhabitants 16 in a room and the feeling of cold air will never be felt by them. Further, the direction of the blow-off air is maintained in proper downward direction without spoiling good temperature distribution in the room, therefore, the temperature distribution in the whole of the room may be kept in excellent. |
