PURPOSE:To pressureweld a rectangular fin to a pipe with a deep sinking by bringing the notched part provided on the bent part of a rectangular fin to a pipe and by descending with pressing the pressure welding electrode having the notch corresponding to the curvature of the surface of the pipe from the inner side thereof. CONSTITUTION:The notch 10 having an adequate depth d2 is provided on the bent part of the rectangular fin 6 of V or U shape and the rectangular fin 6 is set so as to let the above notched part 10 bite onto the pipe 5 being installed on a backing electrode 3. The rectangular fin 6 is then brought into contact with the pipe 5 by pressing with touching the pressure welding electrode 2 having the notch 2' being accorded with the curvature of the surface of the pipe 5 on the tip part of the inner side face of the fin 6. A current is then flowed in the arrow mark direction with impressing a voltage between both electrodes 2, 3. The rectangular fin 6 is thus pressurewelded with a deep sinking to the pipe 6 by heating the contact point 11 of the fin 6 and pipe 5 with Joule's heat and by descending with pressing further the pressure welding electrode 2. |
