PURPOSE:To prevent engine stall after variation of target idle opening due to stepping of accelerator pedal by controlling the idle opening of throttle valve for next idle operation during non-idle operation. CONSTITUTION:Under engine operation, ECU59 will first decide whether it is idle operation due to turning on of idle switch and if the answer is YES, the newest throttle valve opening is stored in RAM. While upon decision of NO, the difference between the newest throttle valve opening stored in RAM and the target idle opening to be determined by the condition of car such as turning on of air-conditioner is calculated to decide whether said difference is lower than setting opening requiring no special correction. Upon decision of NO, it is decided whether the difference is plus or minus and to plus/minus the level in said RAM by theta deg. in accordance to the decision results thus to step an accelerator pedal in accordance to the throttle opening and to control the idle opening after release. |
