PURPOSE:To remarkably enlarge a width of electrostatic charge amt. of a toner by preparing an electrophotographic binary type developer contg. >=2 kinds of carriers having values higher or lower than the work function of the toner. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic binary type developer is prepared by incorporating >=2 kinds of carriers having values lower or higher than the work function of the toner. The toner of the developer contg. >=2 kinds of carriers and at least one kind of toner is charged to a prescribed polarity, and it is transferred to the photosensitive body having an electrostatic latent image different in polarity from the toner. The carriers different in the work function are obtained by coating the surface of the carrier of iron or ferrite or the like with resins different in the work function from each other. |
