<p>PURPOSE:To record exactly and automatically only a part which is deisred to record of a broadcast by transmitting a control signal for indicating each start and end, when a program is started and ended, in addition to a digitally processed sound signal or video signal from a broadcasting station, receiving this control signal, and controlling a magnetic recording and reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:In case of broadcasting by PCM system, immediately before the next program 16 is started, a program start control signal 15 is transmitted and received. This signal is amplified, detected and demodulated by a receiving circuit 5, outputted to an output terminal 7 of a control signal, inputted to an input terminal 9 of a control signal of a magnetic recording and reproducing device 10, applied to a controlling circuit 12, drives a magnetic tape, and recording is started. When an end control signal 17 is transmitted and received as soon as the program 16 is ended, it is operated so that a mechanism 13 is switched to an REC-PAUSE state from an REC-PLAY state. As a result, the running of the magnetic tape is stopped, and the recording is stopped.</p> |
