PURPOSE:To supply mixture gas in layers by putting the opening/closing timing of an aux. suction valve earlier relative to the timing of the main suction valve as the revolving speed of engine becomes higher, and thereby preventing delay of the suction from aux. suction passage during high speed operation. CONSTITUTION:A main suction passage 7 is connected to the combustion chamber 5, and is opened and closed by a main suction valve 8 under the suction stroke of the engine 1. The downflow end of an aux. suction passage 9 has an opening in the main suction passage 7 overstream the main suction valve 8, and this opening is opened and closed by an aux. suction valve 10 in the timing in accordance with the revolving speed in synchronization with the crank shaft of engine 1. Further, the main suction passage 7 is equipped with a carburettor 11 for supply of the mixture gas. Here a control means 25 is furnished, which shall be fed with the revolving speed sensor signal and crank angle signal. The opening/closing timing of the aux. suction valve 10 is made earlier relative to the timing of the main suction valve 8, as the engine speed becomes higher. |
