PURPOSE:To prevent meandering and oscillation of a strip, by disposing a tension leveler to the position above an annealing furnace in a line so as to improve the flatness of the passing strip. CONSTITUTION:The continuous annealing line of a strip 2 is constituted so that a tension leveler 50 is disposed to the position above the annealing furnace in the line. Owing to the above-mentioned line, the oscillation in the vertical direction as well as the meandering in the horizontal direction occurred to the strip 2 in advancing direction can be prevented. As a result, the line can be given a high rate of speed. |
