1,194,029. Conditioning photographic film. VACUUMATE CORP. Oct. 11, 1967 [Nov. 7, 1966], No.46508/67. Heading G2C. Photographic film is conditioned by feeding the film 2 through a lubricating bath 5 containing a lubricant or humectant with a solvent base, leading the film over rollers 6 to allow it to dry and then leading the dried film in a sinuous fashion between the polishing or buffing rollers 8 which have felt or velvet surfaces 9. The film is rendered more pliable and facially smooth thus facilitating its progress through projection apparatus. |
