PURPOSE:To remove the meshing of a band-like cleaning member and the repollution of a surface to be cleaned by stopping the winding of the cleaning member after the passage of a prescribed period from the release of pressing of the cleaning member to an image-forming processing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:While being wound around a shaft 10 by the rotation of a motor 10, the cleaning cloth 8 is pressed against a fixing roller 4 by a press roller 12 to clean the fixing roller 4. When a cleaning signal is stopped, a solenoid 18 is turned off and the cleaning cloth 8 is released from the press-contact of the roller 12. After being released from the press-contact of the roller 12 and separated from the surface of the roller 4, the cleaning cloth 8 is still wound around the shaft 10 by the motor 13 for a fixed period. |
