PURPOSE:To obtain the kerosene stove which is easily ignited even when tar adheres thereto or kerosene of bad quality is used by providing an ignition heater having filaments disposed at the upper and lower parts of the kerosene stove. CONSTITUTION:By operating a wick lifting and lowering device, a wick 16 is protruded between an outer flame cylinder 4 and a cylinder 17, and the upper end of the wick 16 is lifted up to a position X and power is supplied to an ignition heater 19. Upon this occasion, filaments 30A and 30B generate heat and possess high temperatures. Since the filament 30B provided at the lower side, is closer to the wick 16, it rapidly heats the wick 16. A large amount of evaporated gas is generated from the wick 16. The quantity of heat of the filament 30B is dissipated and the temperature thereof is slightly decreased. On the other hand, since the temperature of the upper filament 30A is high, the evaporated gas generated from the lower filament 30B rises up, and is mixed suitably with air flowing in through a vent hole 4A and a supply port 18, thus the evaporated gas being ignited by the upper filament 30A. |
