摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate reduction of amount of airflow upon wide angle downward deflection of airflow and permit to blow-off air downwardly more efficiently by a method wherein an auxiliary blow-off port and a damper, opening and closing an auxiliary blow-off port under operating in conjunction with a horizontal control plate, are provided in a blow-off port. CONSTITUTION:The blow-off port 20, equipped with the airflow direction deflecting device, is constituted at the front surface of the air-conditioning machine body 10 and the auxiliary blow-off port 30 is provided between an arced fluid guide plate 25 and a fluid guide wall 29 in the blow-off port while the damper 27, opened and closed under operating in conjunction with the horizontal control plate 24, is provided in the device. Air, sucked into a ventilating chamber 12 from a suction port 14, passes through a heat exchanger 1 and air-conditioned flow, sent into the blow-off port 20 after exchanging heat, flows into the airflow direction deflecting device. The air is blown off horizontally upon horizontal blow-off in the same manner as before. Upon downward blow-off, jet streams L, M obtain coanda effect effectively by the damper 27 and are deflected downward, thereafter, become jet stream N after joining with the jet stream K, therefore, the wide angle downward deflection may be effected effectively and the loss of flow with respect to the blow-off flow may be eliminated.
