PURPOSE:To move the tip end of a faucet pipe to a place whereat the pipe does not interfere anything when the water heater is not used, in order to prevent water hammer and eliminate after-boiling, by providing a sliding section between a hot-water delivery pipe and the faucet pipe. CONSTITUTION:Water, flowed into the water heater through a water supplying pipe 2, is heated in a heat exchanger 5, thereafter, is carried to the hot-water delivery pipe 6, then, is carried to the sliding section 10 together with water passing through a bypass pipe 7 branched from the water supplying pipe 2. The sliding section 10 is provided with a sliding outer pipe 11 and a sliding inner pipe 12 and is connected to the faucet pipe 8. When a hydraulic pressure is not being applied, the sliding inner pipe 12 is accommodated in the deep place of the sliding outer pipe 11 by a spring 13, however, when water is flowed and the hydraulic pressure is applied, the sliding inner pipe 12 compresses a spring 13 gradually by a force produced by the hydraulic pressure on a difference between pressure receiving areas at both ends of the sliding inner pipe 12 and whereby the sliding inner pipe 12 moves through the sliding outer pipe 11 to the center of a sink 9. In case the hydraulic pressure is applied suddenly, the pressure is mitigated by the spring 13 and water hammer phenomenon will never be caused. On the other hand, the sliding outer pipe 11 is provided with a capacity to mix hot-water and water sufficiently, therefore, after-boiling will never be caused and there may be no fear of getting burn. |
