摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To measure always correct thickness by proving the detector of the position and angle crossing a radiant ray by a rolling plate in the device measuring the thickness of a rolling plate with the transmittivity of the radiant ray between rolls rolling in order a rolling plate. CONSTITUTION:A rolling plate 5 tranvels rollers 1, 2 and 3, 4 in a (a) direction and is rolled in order. A louver roll 6 provided in the medium of the two pairs of rolls thereof is press-contacted to the plate 5, and according to the change, etc. of the rolling efficiency due to the rollers 3, 4 the rotary angle theta of the arm 8 of the roll 6 varies always and the tension of the plate 5 drawn out of the rollers 1, 2 is kept constantly. A radiant ray detector 9 and radiant ray source 10 are provided oppositely up and down of the plate 5 on the side part of the roll 6 and the intensity of the radiant ray transmitting the plate 5 is detected by the detector 9. Now, by detecting the angle theta with providing an angle theta detector 15 a pass angles alpha and pass line y are known, further the relation between the line y and the errors delta of the thickness measuring value is found by actual survey. A thickness calculating circuit 12 corrects the found value based on the signal transmitted from the detector 9 further by the error delta.</p>
