摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the processing efficiency with a semiconductor IC (integrated circuit) by using an arithmetic circuit that performs a logical operation between the data supplied from outside and a selected address of a semiconductor memory cell and writing the result of said logical operation on the original address of a memory. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic circuit 4 performs the operations as shown in the figure in response to the selection signals M0, M1 and M2 given from the outside. Then a desired logical operation is carried out between the data A stored in the selected address and the data B given from the outside. The result of this logical operation is written on the original address.
