The invention relates to a machine and a method for threading, into a conduit, wires coming from a supply unit. The machine includes a support 12 for fixing the conduit 113 in an elongate position, a needle 13 constituted by a flexible cable 131 and an eyelet 132 for attaching the wires 114, and a drum 141 to which the cable is fixed, which drum can move in the direction of the unwinding and that of the winding of the cable. For the implementation of the method, the conduit is fixed to the support, the sheath is unwound towards the drum, the cable is unwound in the sheath towards the supply unit, the wires are attached to the eyelet, the cable is wound up and the sheath is cut. <IMAGE>
