PURPOSE:To facilitate the detection of leak points with a tape or a sheet with a pH indicator attached thereto. CONSTITUTION:A tape or a sheet to which a solution of a pH indicator changing color in reaction with acid or alkali is attached is stuck on the surface of an object to be checked for leakage. Then, the object being detected is sealed with a gas or a liquid to change color in the pH indicator. Thus, color of the tape or sheet will change at any leak point thereby enabling the detection of any leakage. |
