<p>Prodn. of 5-amino-1,3-dioxanes of formula (I) is effected by (a) reacting 2-amino-1,3-propanediol cpd. of formula (II) with an ester of formula R5COOR6 (III); (b) reacting the resulting 2-acylamino-1,3-propanediol cpd. (IV) with a ketone of formula R7COR8 (V) in the presence of a cpd. of formula (R9)aC(OR10)b (VI); and (c) treating the resulting 5-acylamino-1,3-dioxane cpd. (VII) with N2H4; R1-R5=H or 1-6C organic gps.; R6-R10=1-6C alkyl or aryl; a+b=4.</p> |
