PURPOSE:To enhance the sensitivity and color picture storability of a thermal recording material by adding at least one of specific compound groups to a diazo-fixation type thermal recording material containing specific first and second coupler compounds. CONSTITUTION:In a diazo-fixation type thermal recording material using at least one compound selected from the first couplers of the formula (I) and the second couplers group of the formulas (II)-(IV) in a dispersed fine particle state of a grain size of 0.5-10mum, a compound of the formula (V) is added to the recording material to obtain a black-color diazo-fixation type thermal recording material having a higher sensitivity and a higher picture storability against light. As a developer, a guanidine derivative, as represented by the formulas (VI) and (VII) as an organic base compound is used to add excellent storage stability to these excellent characteristics of the thermal recording material. |
