A housing for a roller or a catch-bolt, for a sliding-door, comprises a body, having a receiving space for the roller or the catchbolt, defined by two substantially parallel side walls and a curved peripheral wall, at least part of the peripheral wall having resiliently deformable external teeth 15 running substantially parallel to the side walls, the teeth being intended to retain the housing in a cavity in the sliding-door, the housing having a peripheral aperture through which the roller or catch-bolt projects when mounted in the housing. The housing is made of a resilient plastics material. When the housing is intended to receive a catch bolt 4 the outer wall 5 has a longitudinal slot 6 through which a projection of the bolt extends the slot having detents 8, 9 and the projection having portions which engage the detents so that the bolt is retained in either of two alternative positions. When the housing is intended for a roller it is provided with slots for receiving the end portion of an axle of the roller.</p> |
