CONTROLLER FOR MOTOR POWER STEERING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To control steering well by controlling rotation of motor through added signals of an assist signal, a return signal based on the output from a steering switch and a return signal based on torsional torque within specific steering amount. CONSTITUTION:Assisting direction motor current indicating section 1 will produce an assist signal (i) on the basis on an output signal from a torsional torque sensor 11. While returning direction motor current indicating section 2 will produce a return signal itheta on the bases of an output signal from a steering switch 21. Returning torque level indicating functional section 6 will produce a return signal iT on the basis of an output signal from said sensor 11 under non-operational area of steering direction switch 21. These three signals are added and fed as a command signal to control circuit 3. The control circuit 3 will control rotation of motor 4 on the bases of said command signal.
