<p>The spool thread winding system used rotation of the spool to be wound and hydraulising controlled reciprocation of the thread, both the rotation rate and the reciprocation position being monitored. The two monitored signals (v,y) are combined with preset electrical values representing the required winding data, to obtain a control signal (5) for the velocity and the stroke of the hydraulic piston controlling the reciprocation. - Pref. the reciprocation position signal (y) is provided by an inductive position sensor (5), while the rotation rate of the reel is monitored via a tachogenerator (38). The obtd. analogue control signal (5) is pref. fed to a ferrovalve between the hydraulic piston/cylinder device and the hydraulic reservoir (7).</p> |
