PURPOSE:To obtain a paper capable of giving a highly precise full-color picture free of color fading even when allowed to stand for 24 hours in ordinary- temperature water by coating a mixture liquid composed of a pigment composed primarily of fine silicic acid powder, a water-soluble adhesive, and a wet paper intensifier on the surface of a supporter. CONSTITUTION:A mixture liquid composed of 100pts.wt. fine silicic acid powder, 25-150pts.wt. a water-soluble adhesive, and a wet paper intensifier is coated in an amount of 3g/m<2> or more on the surface of a supporter to form a paint film. Or, a mixture liquid composed of 30-100pts.wt. fine silicic acid powder, 70-0pt.wt. a pigment other than silicic acid powder, and 25-150 pts.wt. water- soluble adhesive and wet paper intensifier is coated on the surface of the supporter. The water-soluble adhesive used includes PVA, latexes, glue, casein, starch, etc., and the wet paper intensifier used included ones containing 0.1-1.0% (solid) on the basis of pulp in general. The preferred mixing ratio of the water-soluble adhesive and a water-soluble water intensifier is 10% (solid) wet paper intensifier on the basis of 100pts.wt. (solid) the water-soluble adhesive. |
