PURPOSE:To obtain user's favorite frequency characteristics after correction by varying the frequency characteristic of a pink noise outputted by a pink noise generating circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a signal having its high frequency range lowered is used as the output of a pink noise generating circuit used for an automatic sound field frequency correcting circuit, frequency characteristics of the transmission line from a speaker to a listening position and the frequency characteristic of the pink noise are corrected, so the frequency characteristic at the listening position after the correction have the high frequency range increased as shown by 12 as compared with a flat frequency characteristic 11. For the purpose, the frequency characteristic of the pink noise is varied freely, and then user's favorite corrections are made. Then a resistance or capacitor constituting a filter used for the noise generating circuit is composed of a variable element and the time constant of the filter is only varied to vary the frequency characteristics of the pink noise. |
