PURPOSE:To enable a linear transfer machine to perform cutting and screw thread cutting, etc., by imparting rotation and mechanical positioning function to a fixture and providing a disengagement device for transmitting index rotating force and positioning release to said fixture. CONSTITUTION:The center positioning and chucking of a disc-shaped work W are performed by a shaft 23 and both clamping blocks 24. Moreover, in a state where a lock pin 25 is in its upward position, the tip of the work is engaged with a cutout 26 and a rotor 22 is positioned in the origin position. Then, in a state where a push button 28 protrudes, the lock pin 25 is allowed to rise to permit the rotor 22 to be mechanically locked to the origin position. Further, when the push button 28 is pushed down by an exterior operation, the lock pin 25 is lowered to permit the positioning to be released. Then, by driving the lock removing cylinder 44, the push button 28 is pushed down to permit the positioning of the rotor 22 to be released, and simultaneously a coupling shaft 32 is engaged with the rotor 22 in one piece. And, by driving an index unit 3, the rotor 22 is subjected to index rotation in succession, allowing the outer circumference of the work W to be processed. |
