<p>1-Oxo-1,3,4,7-tetrahydrobenzofuranes of the formula <IMAGE> in which X is O or S, R is optionally substituted phenyl or heteroaryl, R1 is OH, monoalkylamino or dialkylamino, and R2 is an acyl or esterified carboxy radical, or pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof, which are active in circulation, e.g. they increase myocardial contractility, increase the flow of Ca2+ into the cell, increase blood pressure, reduce blood sugar, reduce swelling of mucous membranes and affect the salt and/or fluid balance.</p> |
