Turbidity in biological fluids is eliminated by adding an aq. opt. buffered, soln. contg. (A) polyethoxylated triglyceride of HLB 4-14; (B) sec. n-alkanesulphonate and opt. (C) an additional nonionic or anionic surfactant. Pref. the soln. contains (by wt.) 0.5-15% (A); 0.5-10% (B) and 0.2-5% (C).
