PURPOSE:To control a cutting register automatically by adjusting a compensator corresponding to the difference between the cutting register detected by the detection of tension at the plural position of running paper and the actually measured cutting register of at least one web among a plurarity of the webs. CONSTITUTION:A control of the cutting register of a folding machine 22 is carried out in such a manner that each tension T2, T3, T4 of running paper 10 is detected by the first, second and third tension detectors 24, 27, 28, and each of these tensions T2, T3, T4 and a tension T1 at a dancer roller 13 are given to a control apparatus 29. Then, each compensator 16, 18 is adjusted by this controller 29 with a compensator position changing apparatus is operated corresponding to the difference between the cutting register detected by a photosensor 31, and the cutting register is controlled such that number of staying pattern of the staying paper 10 between the middle drag roller 15 and the triangular drag roller 19 may be maintained constant. |
