<p>Rotary switching connections allowing both pipes to be connected together or to stationary members and the flow of fluid to be established or interrupted between one and the other by shutting off upstream circuits and opening downstream circuits to the atmosphere. They are composed of two joined elements 1 and 2 capable of being manually rotated with respect to one another about an axis XX and of retaining the position which is given to them. An inlet duct 4 in the element 2 and an outlet duct 3 in the element 1 each equipped with an integrated connection 66 and 55 emerge in their respective adjacent faces on a single circle of radius XY. Putting these orifices into angular correspondence allows the two-directional passage of the fluid through the device in a manner which is sealed by a seal 8 housed in a dished part 7 at the periphery of the duct 4 and compressed between the two elements 1 and 2. In any other rotary indexing position, the duct 4 is shut off by the sealed pressing of the seal 8 on the smooth face 11 of the element 1 and the outlet duct 3 which does not have a seal is in contact with the atmosphere via a hole 9.
