PURPOSE:To obtain a forced air supplying capacity in proportion to the delivery hot water flow rate by a method wherein natural air supply and forced air supply, which is performed by a forced air supplying fan installed in a forced air supplying passage leading to a combustion chamber, are used in combination. CONSTITUTION:A burner 7 burns under the combined air supply consisting of natural air supply through air supplying ports 1 and forced air supply produced by the rotation of a forced air supplying fan 3, which is developed by transmitting through a rotational transfer mechanism C the rotation of rotationally driven blades 5 which is rotationally driven by the flow of water running through a feed water passage 4 during the hot water delivery action. The addition of forced air supply, which is sent by the forced air supplying fan 3 employing the water flow supplied to a heat exchanger B as driving source and through the flow rate of which is very small, to natural air supply causes the burning quality of burners 7 to improve remarkably, resulting in enabling to increase the burning rate of the burners. In addition, because the pitch between the burners can be made smaller, the height of a combustion chamber A is made lower and the load of flame port area also can be increased, the manufacturing of smaller-sized gas fired water heater is made possible. |
