LEAKAGE TESTING METHOD OF FITTING PART OF FLEXIBLE FILM

PURPOSE:To enable easily a person to go to a testing position, to shorten a testing time and to reduce the cost of equipment by forming a long space between a bracket and rigid wall on the inside of a seal part along a fitting line and injecting testing gas or the like into the space. CONSTITUTION:The bracket consisting of a base plate 11, a clamping bar 12 and a round rod 13 is fixed on a reinforcing plate 15 welded to the rigid wall 4. Two round rod rubber packings 20 coated with sealing materials 21 is inserted between the reinforcing plate 15 and a cover sheet 16 and a small hole 8 and an injection port 8' for injecting testing gas or liquid L into the long space 9 formed between the two packings 20 are formed on the reinforcing plate 15 and the rigid wall 4 respectively. Soapy water T is applied to the surface of the seal part and then the testing gas is injected. Consequently, the test can be attained only by injecting the small volume of testing gas into the space and the test can be performed rapidly without expanding the whole film because of the small volume of injection.
