A device for transporting surfboards and their accessories comprises a unit (1) to which transport wheels (12) can be attached. The unit is used upside down in relation to Fig. 4 when securing the surfboard to a vehicle roof. The unit (1) is positioned on top of the surfboard, which is positioned on the roof rails, with the bottom (2) lying against the surfboard. The unit has two side pieces (4) extending from the bottom (2) and forming right triangles as well as a front (5). It is open in the back. The front (5) serves as a spoiler. The top of the unit is supported by a wall running parallel to the bottom (6), partitions (7) and a transverse axle (8). The surfboard mast can be fixed at one end by sliding it in the unit.By attaching transport wheels and positioning the unit as illustrated in Fig. 4, the invention becomes a transport cart where the surfboard is also fixed here to the unit's bottom (1) but resting on top of the bottom and the mast can serve as a handle for manoeuvring the cart.<IMAGE> |
