<p>PURPOSE:To decrease NOx as well as to increase the rate of desulfurization, by removing ash content in the melting state from fuel by keeping the temperature in the primary combustion chamber high above the temperature so that the ash content in the fuel is melted and fluidized, and by introducing the primary combustion exhaust gas containing unburnt content into the secondary combustion chamber, and by desulfurizing the exhaust gas by adding some desulfurizing agent to the exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:The primary burner 3 is ignited, and combustion is started in pulverized coal fed into the primary combustion chamber 1 from a coal feed nozzle 6. The ash content in coal is melted by holding the temperature in the primary combustion chamber 1 at 1,350-1,450 deg.C, fluidizing it, and the melted ash is taken out of an outlet 7. Then the primary combustion gas containing unburnt content is introduced into the secondary combustion chamber 2, desulfurizing agent is fed into the primary combustion exhaust gas from a desulfurizing agent feed nozzle 8, desulfurizing the exhaust gas. The temperature in gas is decreased by radiating heat to the surroundings and then the unburnt content is completely burned in the secondary combustion zone 12, by feeding necessary and enough rate of air into the primary combustion exhaust gas containing sulfide such as CaS, Na2S from a secondary air feed nozzle 11. In such a manner, the sulfide is decomposed into harmless sulfate.</p> |
