PURPOSE:To increase volume efficiency of a positive mix by thinning the coating thickness of a positive mix and reducing the content of conductive material. CONSTITUTION:The thickness of a positive mix 11 is decreased to 300mum or less, and 2-10pts.wt. conductive material comprising acetylene black or a mixture of acetylene black and graphite is added to 100pts.wt. manganese dioxide. Since the distance between a positive active material and a negative active material is short, even if the filling density of positive active material is increased, internal resistance of a battery is not increased and utilization factor of the active material is not decreased. Therefore, a thin battery having good volume efficiency is obtained. |
