PURPOSE:To determine quantitatively analyte with high accuracy by forming a titled implement in such a manner that a blood cell filter layer is laminated on the surface of a developing layer having an effect of measuring a liquid sample in tight contact therewith. CONSTITUTION:An implement for analyzing a whole blood sample is disposed with the blood cell filter layer 24 on the developing layer 21 of a multi-layered analytical element consisting of the developing layer 21 having the effect of measuring the liquid sample, a detection function layer 22 contg. at least one reagent layer and a light transmittable and water impervious base 23. A glass fiber filter is more particularly preferable as the material of the layer 24 and the thickness of the layer 24 is preferably about 150-1,000mum. A non-fibrous isotropic porous medium layer, fibrous porous medium layer, etc. are used for the material of the layer 21. |
