An intake for water is connected in the inlet side of the high pressure pump, the outlet side of which is connected via. a hose or similar conduit to one or more cleaning mouthpieces for application of water under high pressure to surfaces to be cleaned. The outlet side of the pump is permanently connected via. a pipe to one or more mouthpieces positioned permanently in the vicinity of points in a building where fire is liable to occur. The mouthpieces are formed so that when water flows through them it is finely distributed to form a mist for restriction of fire development. - The water at the pump outlet side when used for fire fighting should pref. achieve a pressure of approx. 150 bars. The connection between the pump outlet side and the permanent mouthpieces incorporates a primary valve (17) which opens and the pump starts when a switch is activated. |
