PURPOSE:To increase discharge performance and storage life by using a resin having a heat resistant temperature of 200 deg.C or more as an insulator between a positive can inner bottom and power generating elements. CONSTITUTION:A resin having a heat resistant temperature of 200 deg.C or more such as tetrafluoroethylene resin is used as an insulating plate 11 placed between the inner bottom of a positive can 2 and a positive mix 3 and a negative electrode 5. The insulating plate 11 is placed on the inner bottom of the positive can 2, and the positive mix 3 which is molded in a hollow cylindrical shape is inserted inside the positive can 2 and placed on the insulating plate 11, then heated at 180-200 deg.C or more for drying. Without decrease in productivity, the positive mix is surely dried and moisture is removed. Therefore, discharge performance and storage life of the battery are increased. |
