PURPOSE:To uniformize the temperature distrubution throughout a room by a method wherein the blow-off direction of air-conditioning air is switched automatically into a direction toward the upper part of the room upon room cooling while it is switched into another direction toward the lower part of the room upon room heating. CONSTITUTION:When a vane 4 is located at a position having an angle theta1 with respect to a horizontal blow-off direction upon room cooling operation, the contact of a room heating and cooling switching switch 11 is contacted to a room cooling side, a position detecting switch 7 is being put OFF and a signal ''0'' is being inputted into a micro-computer 10. Accordingly, switching operation is not effected and the horizontal blow-off is continued. When the switch 11 is positioned at room heating side upon room heating operation, the vane 4 is located at the angular position theta2 of downward direction and the signal ''1'' is being outputted, the dowward blow-off is continued in the same manner. In case the operation is switched to the room heating operation when the vane 4 is located at the angular position theta1 of horizontal blow-off direction, the micro-computer 10 energizes a relay 12 to pivot the vane 4 downwardly by a motor 8 and the blow-off direction is fixed at the downward direction when the pivoting position has arrived at the angular position theta0 from the same position theta1. Thus, the blow-off direction may be switched automatically into the horizontal blow-off direction upon room cooling operation and into the downward blow-off direction upon the room heating operation. |
