PURPOSE:To prepare a pomade having high viscosity and spreadability, excellent hair-fixing effect, and high sterilizing activity, etc., by mixing an extract of deodorized hibiscus with lactic acid and glycerol, and adding stearic acid soap, etc. to the obtained base. CONSTITUTION:An extract of hibiscus deodorized with activated carbon is mixed with lactic acid and glycerol, and the obtained pasty composition is used as the base and mixed with a stearic acid soap, gallic acid, potassium carbonate, cetanol, castor oil, etc. The ratios of the components are 7-9% glycerol and 6-10% lactic acid per 1,000pts. of the hibiscus extract, and 100pts. of stearic acid soap, 0.7% gallic acid, 0.7pt. of potassium carbonate, 10pts. of cetanol, and 100pts. of castor oil based on 200pts. of the above base. The above extract can be prepared by storing dug root of hibiscus in SHOCHU (low-class distilled spirit), washing with water, smearing activated carbon to the root, adding water thereto, leaving the root at rest, washing with water, crushing the root, immersing in SHOCHU, etc., to effect the extraction, and filtering the product. |
