Holder or support for sheets of drawing paper or for drawing plates or drawing boards supporting the said sheets, comprising a base plate frame on one side of which a supporting plate, which is preferably also designed to be frame-shaped, is mounted so as to pivot by means of a hinge. The supporting plate is supported on transverse ribs which are situated on the rear part of the base plate, by means of supports which are mounted on both sides of the base plate in a hinge-like manner. The hinges are formed by circularly cylindrical enclosures with inner circularly cylindrical hinge parts.
