摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance vaccum adhesion of a printing plate obtained, by forming and dyring a coating fluid layer to make the uppermost layer of a photosensitive printing plate in which specified particulates are dispersed stably in a coating fluid containing latex particles smaller than the above particulates. CONSTITUTION:Polyethylene, polystyrene, or the like of 5-40mu mean particle diameter are contained as a matting agent in a photosensitive layer formed on a substrate made of aluminum or the like treated to give hydrophilic property. A photosensitive material, such as o-naphthoquinonediazide or photopolymerizable unsaturated compound is mixed with a photopolymerization initiator, a sensitizer, etc. to form a photosensitive composition. On the other hand, a hydrophobic monomer, a hydrophilic monomer, and a cross-linkable monomer are emulsion-polymerized to give a water-soluble polymer latex containing latex particles having a mean particle diameter of 1/ 10-1/1,000 times that of the above matting particles, and the composition and this latex are mixed. The matting particles are dispersed into this mixture, and this fluid is coated on the substrate and dried. The matting particles are pushed out to the surface, permitting a printing plate with superior vacuum adhesion to be obtained, the time required for vacuum adhesion operation to be reduced to half or below half that of conventional ones, and further the storage stability of the coating fluid before coating to be enhanced.
