PURPOSE:To enlarge the surrounding temp. range and the voltage range of a power source use with which a liquid level can be detected by making the resisting body of which resistance value shows a minus temp. dependency in a cylindrical shape. CONSTITUTION:The resisting body (thermistor) 9 of which resisting value shows a minus temp. dependency is made in a cylindrical shape and electrodes 2, 3 are provided on both ends of the thermistor 9. Lead wires 4, 5 are connected to the electrodes 2, 3 as well, and these are contained in a metal case 6. Small holes 6a, 6b are formed in the metal case 6 so that a detecting liquid can be flowed in and out, further small holes 7a, 7b are formed on the cover 7 closing the opening part of the metal case 6 so as to flow in and out the detection liquid. |
