PURPOSE:To elevate an accuracy by reducing the reflection light of the radiating heat of a steel plate with adequate arrangement of a radiation thermometer as well as iliminating the effect of the emissivity with finding the emissivity of a roll by utilizing the reflection light of the radiation heat of a steel plate. CONSTITUTION:The 1st radiation thermometer 14 for the surface temp. measurement of a roll 13, the 2nd radiation thermometer 15 for measuring the composite radiation of the thermal radiation of the roll 13 and the reflection light of the thermal radiation of the steel plate 11 and 3rd radiation thermometer 16 are provided in the section rolling the steel plate 11 by the roll 13. The thermometers 14, 16 are fitted in vertical direction on the objective surface and a metal plate 17 is arranged between thermometers 14, 15, also a surrounding temp. measuring instrument 18 and arithmetic unit 19, etc. are provided. The emissivity of the roll is found then from the indicated value, surrounding temp., the rate of the mirror face reflection and angle coefficient of the thermometers 14, 15, 16 and the surface temp. is calculated from the emissivity and the indicated value and surrounding temp. of the thermometer 14. |
