PURPOSE:To arrange so that no duplicated record of different color pixels is indicated and a clear figure obtained in spite of a change in the position of a border line between color segments by forming plural heating element blocks divided into distance shorter than those between color segments into linear heating regions. CONSTITUTION:Heating element blocks H1-H9 are divided and aligned along a recording line R to form heating regions N1-N9 which exist at every distance l, and are fixed on a frame 9a supporting a movable heat 9. The movable head 9, driven by a pulse motor 18 can move intermittently along the recording line R to the left by distance of l. Upon the completion of a single cycle of heat scanning, the movable head 9 can return to its original position quickly. As far as a clearance region of distance DELTAl is divided by each border line between adjoining color segments, an undesired pixel will not be transferred in a single heating region by the heating of another adjoining color segment beyond a color segment corresponding to the heating region. |
