PURPOSE:To provide a stepless speed change gear unit with no slip, by providing small gears each having an one-way clutch on the periphery of a pulley so that output power is taken off from a driven shaft disposed at the center of the pulley, and by enabling the radial position of each small gear to be changed. CONSTITUTION:Four radially movable small gears 8 each provided with an one way clutch are provided on the periphery of a pulley 1. A chain is meshed with the small gears so that it rotates the pulley as a whole, and therefore, output power may be take off from a driven shaft 2 provided at the center of the pulley 1. Meanwhile the small gears 8 are held in radial slits by means of bolts, and therefore, the radial positions of the small gears may be changed so that the pitch of the pulley may be also changed. |
